The State Patent Bureau office will be closed on Friday 16 of February. This day is officially declared as national holiday as Lithuania celebrates 100 years since the signing of its Act of Independence.
The Act of Independence, signed by the Council of Lithuania in 1918, created the Lithuanian state. The original Act of Independence of Lithuania was well hidden: it surfaced in the archive of Germany’s Foreign Affairs’ Ministry and wasdiscovered in March 2017, just in time for the Centennial celebration.
