Patent Law Treaty (PLT) entered into force in the Republic of Lithuania on February 3, 2012.

The PLT and new edition of the Patent Law of the Republic of Lithuania will make it easier for patent applicants and patent owners to obtain and maintain patents, it should also reduce the administrative costs and streamline formal procedures.
